Self Compassion & Meditation

Tacoma Older LGBT is proud to present free virtual classes on Self Compassion & Meditation with Hien Hong for our older LGBT community. Those that attended previous classes gave this event rave reviews.
In her own words Hien Hong said:
I am based on the ancestral lands of the Puyallup and Coast Salish Peoples. I honor both the land and peoples and continue to reflect on my role as a guest on stolen land. I acknowledge that yoga and meditation are spiritual traditions that come from South Asia and give deep thanks to the many teachers who came before me. I am committed to liberation and healing for all, which means I aim to combat and unlearn systems of harm including but not limited to: white supremacy, anti-black racism, diet culture, imperialism, capitalism, ableism, neoliberalism, transphobia, homophobia, and patriarchy. I commit to uplifting and creating spaces for Black, Indigenous, and People of Color to practice yoga and meditation in a decolonized way.Tacoma Older LGBT is proud to present free virtual classes on Self Compassion & Medication with Hien Hong for our older LGBT community.
