 SAGE  Table  - June 10, 2023

Great conversations always seem to happen over food. It's no different for the very
popular SAGE Table event. SAGE Table is an event that brings people from the LGBT+ community and allies together in conversation and appetizers.

In collaboration with Tacoma Older LGBT, Pierce County Human Services Aging & Disability Resources (ADR), is excited to celebrate Pride Month by hosting a SAGE Table screening of Reel in the Closet, a documentary by filmmaker Stu Maddux, creator of Gen Silent and All the Lonely People.

Reel in the Closet features clips of home movies made by LGBTQ people going back to the 1930s, interspersed with commentary and news footage reflecting the views of “society at large,” activism in the face of HIV and AIDS, and the fight for equality. The screening will be followed by facilitated discussion in the SAGE Table format, featuring themes raised by the documentary. New to SAGE Table? 50+ Lunch Bunch  - Watch for this to Return

Watch for this to Return - Join the 50+ Lunch Bunch, an event started in March 2015, is a brown-bag lunch for the 50+ LGBT older adult to bring their lunch and meet other older adults and hear speakers on varies topics.
The 50+ Lunch Bunch is hosted by The Tacoma Rainbow Center and co-sponsored by Tacoma Older LGBT.
